The debut release of Hime Mead.
On this day of the full moon and spring tides, we had our first taste of the finished mead.
As expected, Gogoshima Beer Farm’s Mr. Nagumo has done a wonderful job.
The balance is exquisite, with the gentle aroma of Iyokan citrus beautifully brought forward.
The color is stunning, and the natural carbonation created during fermentation is pleasantly lively.
With restrained sweetness, the finish is clean, crisp, and refreshing.
All that remains is bottling—then it’s complete.
The official unveiling will take place on March 15 at Gogoshima Beer Farm.
