On Tuesday, June 16, we held the 4th Honeybee Talk at Mayudama Gastro Pub in Dogo, Matsuyama.
This time, we focused entirely on honey, presenting the evening in the style of a traditional British pub Quiz Night.
Everyone joined in enthusiastically, and the room was buzzing with excitement from start to finish! The winning team turned out to be a group led by a third-grade elementary school girl—congratulations!
In addition to tasting BeeCamp honey, participants also enjoyed the legendary Hime Mead, Izumi Farm’s refreshing Iyokan Tonic, and a delicious lemon cake from icoi coffee.
We also introduced a microscope for the first time, allowing participants to observe honeybees up close, and enjoyed comparing honeys of different colors, aromas, and flavors. The evening flew by before we knew it.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us.
We hope the event helped bring the fascinating world of honeybees and honey a little closer to your hearts.
We are planning our next Honeybee Talk for this autumn and look forward to seeing you all again.
Until then, the bees—and Maria and Daniel—will be waiting to welcome you back! 🍯
