Announcement!
On Sunday, March 15, we are delighted to host the unveiling of BeeCamp’s first MEAD at Gogoshima Beer Farm. Mead is an alcoholic beverage made from honey.
This mead is crafted using our proudly produced 100% Matsuyama-grown, natural, pure honey, combined with naturally grown Iyokan citrus from Izumi Farm.
It was carefully brewed by the craft beer brewers at Gogoshima Beer Farm.
The label was designed by Sawa san, a BeeCamper living in Tobe. On the day of the event, several works by kirinpicnic will also be exhibited and available for purchase.
For this special occasion, Nagumo san from the beer farm will prepare a special lunch menu designed to pair perfectly with the mead.
For dessert, Hyodo san, another BeeCamper, will serve Raw Sweets specially made with BeeCamp's honey.
Enjoy the perfect pairing, featuring mead served fresh from the tap.
Gogoshima Beer Farm will be open from 11:00 a.m. No lunch reservation is required, and mead will be available to order throughout the day.
Before lunch, we will also host a “Honeybee Talk” led by Maria and Daniel.
In a small-group setting, we’ll share stories about the fascinating lives of honeybees, beekeeping, and honey—along with a tasting of honeys from around the world.
