As January begins, the bees at BeeCamp have grown very quiet, but for us there is plenty of work waiting—tasks we normally can’t do during the busy season. From cleaning last year’s equipment to preparing new frames and hive boxes, arranging nucleus colonies, and planning feeding and mite control for the early spring buildup… there’s really no time to just drift through the days.
